Your text

All text processing on Text Length Tools happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Text you enter into any tool is not sent to any server and is not stored anywhere.

We have no technical ability to access, view or store the text you enter. When you close or refresh the page, your text is gone.

Important: Despite these measures, we recommend you avoid pasting highly sensitive, confidential or personally identifiable information into any online tool, including this one. No online tool can be considered fully private.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages and tools are used and how fast the site loads. It is built for privacy: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not fingerprint your device, so it cannot follow you from one visit to the next or across other websites.

For each page view it records aggregated information: the page address, the website you came from, your browser, operating system and device type, your country, and page-speed measurements. Your country is derived from your IP address, which is not used to identify you. The text you enter into our tools is never included.

Cloudflare also hosts this website. We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles data.

Advertising

We may display third-party advertisements on this site. If we do, advertising providers may set cookies or collect anonymised usage data as part of their standard operation. This is separate from your text, which is never shared.

We will update this policy if and when advertising is added.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use any either. If advertising is added in future, advertising providers may use cookies, and we will update this policy before that happens.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
